Met de heersende coronacrisis op de moment krijgt ook The Walt Disney Company rake klappen. Zo zijn momenteel alle themaparken dicht, en ook voor de film industrie is het momenteel een moeilijke tijd, opnames liggen stil en releases in de bioscopen gaan niet door of worden uitgesteld.

Vandaag maakte Disney een nieuwe lijst bekend met de releases van Disney films tot en met 2022. In de lijst van 2020 vind je ineens de nieuwe releasedatum van bepaalde films die normaal rond deze periode in de bioscoopzalen zouden moeten draaien. Het kan alsnog zijn dat de lijst voor 2020 toch aangepast zal worden, Disney gaat bij deze lijst ervan uit dat vanaf juni de bioscoopzalen terug open gaan. Indien dit niet het geval is zullen deze herbekeken worden. Het is een grote lijst, onderstaande studios zijn allemaal eigendom van The Walt Disney Company.
